Project Overview/Responsibilities:
This role works as a Project Manager that will travel between vendor locations with strong knowledge of ISO and ASME compliance standards and that support the clients projects at multiple sites and projects, this will be assigned by project leadership. The contractor will need to work independently and in a team environment to help achieve project deliverables and impactful vendor oversite. Previous experience in a regulated Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Conduct Contractor/Subcontractor site visits for review of Owner equipment in fabrication process.
- Coordinate with Owner Project Managers to assist with regular inspections including determination of required observations by Schedule
- Evaluate adherence of Contractor/Subcontractor planned scheduled activities with ongoing manufacturing activities.
- Evaluate Contractor/Subcontractor facilities for the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, cleanliness, organization, and security.
- Audit Contractor/Subcontractor turnover documentation for compliance to the Procurement Specification requirements to ensure a timely Shipping Release Tag (SRT)
- Prepare Contractor activity status reports at conclusion of each site visit and report out of key observations to Owner Project Manager
- Validate Contractor/Subcontractor status reports are reflective of actual project activities related to manufacturing, engineering and shipment activities
- Validate Owner material deliverables
- Provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence to the field performing site visits
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a highly regulated industry, with a minimum of 3 directly in a Over-site and Compliance position
- Prior experience working on complex equipment fabrication with multiple components
- Must be proficient and have experience interpreting technical drawings, documents and management reports
- Must be proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling in the past 5 yeras
- Prior experience in Vendor Management
- MUST have prior experience with ISO and ASME standards
- MUST have prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with safety related nuclear procurement or manufacturing
Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Preferred Bachelors or substitute years of experience
