Pipefitter

Responsible for the precise layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of pipe systems and supports. This position requires expertise in working with a variety of materials, including metal and non-metal pipes, to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience working with PVC, steel and copper piping systems up to 4" as well as tube bending installations. Knowledge of oxygen and Natural Gas piping installations is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and install PVC and steel pipes (galvanized, stainless steel, black pipe and tubing) for new projects.
• Proficient in soldering and pipe joining techniques.
• Read blueprints and project plans to determine plumbing system layouts
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Ensure all plumbing installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and repair any plumbing issues during installation
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Provide excellent customer service and communication on-site

Qualifications:

Valid plumbing license (preferred but not required).

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber, with a strong focus on laying pipes for new construction

Proficient in working with PVC and steel pipes

Solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying materials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
