Role : PCB Layout Engineer

Location : Bothell, Washington (Onsite)

Must Have skills : Design for Manufacturability (DFM),Component Placement,Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design,Design for Assembly (DFA),Signal Integrity,Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing

Responsibilities :

  • Component placement, design rule setup in CES
  • Power planes, signal routing, and length matching
  • Silkscreen design and pre-Gerber / ODB preparation
  • ODB file generation and Valor DFM feedback incorporation
  • Creation of PCB manufacturing and assembly drawings
  • Coordination between US and India teams

Key Deliverables & Phases :

PCB Manufacturing Files (Onsite & Offsite)

  • Manufacturing rule checks, output files, assembly guidelines, and component location files

    • Analysis & Design

  • Critical component placement and restriction checks
  • Design for assembly clearance checks

    • SI / PI, FPGA, Thermal Implementation

  • Routing of critical signals
  • Signal integrity (SI) & power integrity (PI) updates
  • Thermal analysis updates

    • Manufacturing Design Files

  • Electrical design rule checks
  • Design for manufacturing validation
  • Gerber & ODB generation for fabrication
  • Assembly notes, guidelines, and pick-and-place files

    • Design Implementation & Setup

  • Fixed component placement, height limitations, and clearance checks
  • Connector and mounting placements
