Day to day as a Logistics Manager
As the Logistics Manager, you will supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of essential supplies and materials within our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include meticulously tracking incoming shipments and ensuring seamless transfers across multiple facilities. By coordinating logistics workflows, you will enhance operational efficiency and contribute to our commitment to quality and safety. Your leadership will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration among team members and driving innovative solutions to logistical challenges. Responsibilities

• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
• Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
• Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers.
• Communicates with the Supply Chain Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
• Ensures milestones and goals are met.
• Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
• Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
• Operates forklift as needed.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,487.00 - $69,893.00 per year
