Job Title: Controller
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)]
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controller to manage our accounting operations, including financial reporting, audits, payroll, accounts payable, and receivable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, leadership skills, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including financial statements, audits, and tax compliance.
Manage cash flow, deposits, wires, and payables across multiple balance sheets.
Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
Analyze monthly reports and provide insights to senior management.
Lead, train, and retain a high-performing accounting team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
6-8 years of accounting experience with 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mortgage or real estate fields is a plus.
