Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location : Charleston, WV (Onsite)
Job Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, from contract negotiations to sourcing, ensuring timely delivery of services, parts, and supplies as required by the business. The role involves managing purchasing systems, coordinating vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and contracts. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or participate in contract reviews, renewals, and negotiations.
- Ensure accurate sourcing and delivery of goods/services as per business needs and contracts.
- Manage the organization’s purchasing system, including purchase orders (POs) and inventory management.
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure product quality and specifications.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and change notices.
- Locate and evaluate vendors for materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Analyze market conditions to plan material availability and prepare reports for management.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems (JIT schedules, volume tracking, etc.).
- Conduct bid processes for large or specialized purchases (e.g., equipment, raw materials).
- Create and enforce purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field required, or equivalent experience (10 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
- Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the chemical manufacturing or industrial industry.

Pay: $114,204.00 - $119,881.00 per year
