Position Details

• Role: Shipping and Receiving Lead
• Location: Franklin Park, IL (Local candidates only)
• Salary: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule:
• Start: 5:30 AM until shift end (average 3:30 PM; may extend)
• Overtime: Required during the week and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading trucks and verifying documents (BOLs).
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling.
• Ensure FIFO rotation and compliance with quality/food safety standards.
• Maintain records, coordinate schedules, and resolve discrepancies professionally.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience required
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in cold environments and lifting up to 50 lbs
