Position Summary
TechGuard Security is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrator / Recruiter to manage and streamline our hiring processes, support HR operations, and drive talent acquisition efforts. This role will work closely with department leads to attract and retain top talent, ensure compliance with HR policies, and enhance employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top cybersecurity and technology professionals.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating job offers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Utilize job boards, social media, and professional networks to build a strong talent pipeline.
Conduct reference checks and background verifications as necessary.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems.
Assist in the onboarding and orientation process for new hires to ensure a seamless transition.
Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Support employee relations efforts, handling inquiries, conflict resolution, and compliance matters.
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
Employee Engagement & Development
Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for employees.
Support performance review cycles and assist in goal-setting initiatives.
Organize company events, wellness programs, and team-building activities to foster a positive work culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in HR administration and / or recruiting, preferably in the cybersecurity, technology, or defense industries.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Familiarity with security clearance requirements and hiring for government contracts.
