What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager (Epic) position at TechHuman?
Location: Onsite 5 days per week in San Antonio, TX.
TechHuman is seeking an experienced Project Manager who is adept with Epic EMR and involved operations pertaining to various Epic applications. Please see below for more information.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the IT/Epic Operations liaison between IT departments and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborates with vendors to establish project scope and budgets, ensuring timely deliverables and submission of invoices.
- Manages the Epic Operations project request intake process by collaborating with internal SME’s, IT Directors, and the Deputy CIO to deliver solutions that adhere to best practices and align with UH policies and strategies.
- Develops and implements project management plans and tools, overseeing timelines and milestones to effectively track and monitor project progress.
- Plans, designs, and executes project requests while ensuring adherence to standards, security policies, and Epic testing and rehearsal protocols.
- Defines scope, designs, and implements advanced Epic builds.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Epic EMR system.
- 5 Years of professional experience managing projects in complex environments.
- Demonstrated background coordinating projects across several Epic teams, while presenting to stakeholders up to the executive level.
- An active Epic certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background of creating KPI’s/SLA’s for improve project efficiencies and deliverables.
- PMP certification.
