We are seeking a licensed Family Attorney to assist clients with sensitive family law matters, including child custody, abuse, domestic violence, divorce, alimony, and prenuptial agreements. Candidates must excel in negotiation, oral advocacy, and handling emotional situations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Maryland (DC licensure preferred).
- Experience in hearings, trials, and mediation.
- Strong persuasive writing, verbal communication, legal research, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with paralegals and senior partners for efficient case management.
- Represent clients in court proceedings.
- Maintain up-to-date client files.
- Handle marital asset division during divorces.
- Strategize legal courses of action tailored to client needs.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
