Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer with extensive experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of performance engineering principles, SAP BTP architecture, and cloud technologies. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability of SAP BTP solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
- 8 years of experience in performance engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Neoload, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for automation purposes.
- Solid understanding of database performance tuning, particularly with SAP HANA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- SAP certification in SAP BTP or related areas is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of security best practices in SAP BTP and cloud environments.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
