Position: Vascular Sonographer

About the Role:
The RVTs work as an extension of one of our clients to perform vascular lower extremity ultrasound exams for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. The RVT is expected to demonstrate technical competency and the ability to work in a busy environment while balancing the needs of patients and maintaining an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and record the results of ultrasound evaluations and post-treatment exams in a safe and professional manner for the patient
- Assists physician in ultrasound-guided procedures i.e. Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy and Varithena
- Communicate preliminary examination results with the physician for their review and diagnosis
- Document results of ultrasound evaluations and record the preliminary report in EMR
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment by following the highest quality care standards
Qualifications:
RVT ARDMS or RVS CCI certification is strongly preferred. 2 years of allied health-approved program and/or associate degree. Current experience with venous insufficiency studies preferred.
