Who are YOU?
You are an Environmental Sampling Technicians/Driver collecting air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area. A company vehicle is provided and is picked up/dropped off daily at the company site. Local travel throughout the Chicago area is required and can vary from day to day.
Candidates should be able to multitask, be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.
What does your day/week look like?
- Meticulously document all air sampling tasks (training is provided)
- Use mobile devices
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work weekday, weekend and holiday shifts (at least every other weekend), from 4 to 11 a.m. daily (includes commute to pick up/drop off company vehicle)
Qualifications
What do you need for this amazing opportunity?
- 1 to 2 years of general work experience preferred, but not required
- Environmental training, such as OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification, preferred, but not required
- Data recording and processing skills preferred, but not required
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Authorized to work in the USA
- At least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
