Role Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead Techline, Inc.’s brand and marketing strategy, planning, and implementation in a highly specialized industry. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, providing the vision and leadership needed to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, analyze market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing initiatives in the wholesale manufacturing and utilities distribution industry.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to build on Techline, Inc.’s positioning across the industry.
  • Develop and implement proactive and consistent marketing / brand strategies that enhance brand recognition, loyalty, and sales.
  • Oversee strategic communication plans and messaging for product launches and company announcements, ensuring a consistent tone and voice.
  • Establish clear, targeted communications for multiple personas, including Board / C-suite, engineering, procurement, general management, etc.
  • Stay informed of new industry marketing approaches and conduct consistent market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure marketing / branding campaigns and messaging are completed on time and within budget for conferences, events, and programs.

Customer Engagement and Retention

  • Design and deliver customer-oriented marketing materials for key client segments (e.g., utilities, municipalities, contractors).
  • Analyze customer feedback to inform strategy and improve customer experience.
  • Develop and implement customer loyalty and retention programs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing / branding messaging is integrated into RFPs.
  • Design and provide educational content and resources tailored to client needs.
  • Digital Transformation, E-Commerce, and Social Media Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Continuously enhance the company website to effectively communicate the value proposition and support lead generation.
  • Event Planning and Sponsorship

  • Ensure marketing and communications branding are consistent for corporate events and industry conferences.
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities that align with Techline, Inc.’s goals.
  • Performance Optimization and ROI Analysis

  • Define and track KPIs, such as customer acquisition cost and retention rate.
  • Continuously optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in digital marketing, social media management, brand, marketing, and market research.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Up to 25% travel, requiring extensive travel in the first year (50% ).
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Marketing, Sales, and / or Sales operations experience in wholesale manufacturing / utilities.
