What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at TECHLINE INC?
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate inventory receiving and shipping
- Generate billing tickets to customers
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (i.e. pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts)
- Maintain warehouse to keep clean
- Follow all Company safety procedures, including performing daily safety inspections
- Manage warehouse associates
Skills and Abilities
- Able to work in a warehouse environment, adapting to seasonal temperature changes and inclement weather.
- Able to meet physical requirements. Actions include but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting up to fifty (50) lbs.or more without assistance, and more.
- Able to perform basic computing tasks.
- Able to operate and use standard office equipment including but not limited to: computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
Supervisory Responsibility: This position will supervise Warehouse Associates and CDL Drivers. They will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining direct reports.
