Senior Analyst, Product Research Digital Employee Experience
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Product Research to support Digital Employee Experience, helping to shape user-centric product experiences for 250,000 employees and cast members through data-driven insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and the people insights team to analyze user behavior, evaluate design performance, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance usability and engagement.
This position requires a blend of analytical skills, user research methodologies, and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement in digital products. You will be responsible for validating design and functionality through user research, recruiting internal users, developing test plans, conducting tests, analyzing results, and presenting recommendations to teams and executives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, data analysis, CSAT interpretation, A/B testing, task completion tests, and SUS benchmarking.
Evaluate the impact of design decisions to improve the overall user experience.
Define key success metrics and track product performance over time.
Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to inform design strategies and best practices.
Collaborate with designers and product teams to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
Develop dashboards and reports that visualize design impact and user interactions.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data-driven recommendations are effectively implemented.
Advocate for data-informed design decisions and contribute to the evolution of research and design processes.
Support usability testing initiatives, synthesizing feedback into meaningful design improvements.
Communicate research insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Promote and advocate for usability and accessibility in digital experiences.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Human Factors, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 years of experience in product analytics and/or user research, applying a broad range of methodologies.
Strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative user research methods and user testing platforms.
Experience conducting research related to AI applications and digital experiences.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
Familiarity with user testing methodologies and experimentation platforms.
Strong understanding of UX design principles and user behavior analysis.
End-to-end experience with all aspects of design research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
Ability to collaborate with UX Design, Product, and Engineering teams to implement research recommendations.
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in technology, e-commerce, or digital media industries.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
