Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg Acute
About the Role:
- A 13-week contract with potential for extension, contingent on business demands and performance.
- 36 hours of work per week, from 7am to 6:30pm.
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers is mandatory.
- Audiometry and vision training or a certificate from CHDP are desired.
- CNA2 certification is required for this facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care.
- Take vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure.
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Perform various clerical duties, like routing patient reports as necessary.
- Use organizational skills to maintain a smooth unit operation and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Contribute assessment data to certified nurses within the scope of practice.
- Complete other job-related tasks assigned by management.
