Job Title : Fund Accountant (BOS)
Location : Boston, MA (On-site)
Contract Duration : Until September 12, 2025
Job Summary :
The Fund Accountant provides specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios. Utilizing fund accounting technology, the role is responsible for key aspects of net asset value (NAV) execution, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash management, and issue resolution. Fund Accountants ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily accounting deliverables.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.
- Verify and validate financial information.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve problem items.
- Manage daily transaction volume and ensure output meets quality and timeliness standards.
- Assist in meeting team deadlines and deliverables.
- Monitor and report daily production metrics.
- Support issue resolution and follow up on open inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to address and resolve issues.
- Track and resolve reconciliation breaks.
- Professionally communicate to minimize risk and exposure.
- Contribute to management reporting, including Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and R&A analysis.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
