Job Title: Label Editor III
Location: Princeton, NJ (onsite)
Pay rate: $ 40-46 an hour

Working hours - 8 AM - 5 PM
Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing labeling design changes from artwork release to implementation for APOC product lines and for ensuring that the labeling meets local and international regulatory standards, as well as meets approval by responsible functional areas per established procedures. The Labeling Specialist will maintain labeling-related requirements, specifications, documentation, dispositioning, and inventory plans. Additionally, will communicate and participate in new and existing product team meetings to ensure successful project completion.
Main Responsibilities
- Create project timelines and initiate labeling design changes based on priorities set by the Manager of Information Design.
- Prepare redlines for labeling artwork as specified by cross-functional team members including Regulatory, R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing, and other Technical SMEs.
- Hold meetings with appropriate stakeholders as required for the type of labeling design change.
- Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams, supply chain, print vendors, and translation vendors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Review and proofread updated artwork drafts to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and brand integrity.
- Route artwork for approval and obtain signatures from cross-functional roles per specified procedures and forms.
- Manage activities related to label dispositioning and inventory planning in collaboration with operations, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and rearrange priorities on short notice to meet business needs.
- Must take ownership of the project at all stages from initiation to implementation.
Accountability
Packaging and labeling projects must be completed using best practices, and the highest of quality standards while meeting tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- A BA/BS degree in a general discipline is required.
- A minimum of three years of packaging and labeling experience is required within the regulated industry.
- High-level proofreading skills are required.
- Professional level knowledge and experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, pivot between projects to meet urgencies, remain proactive throughout the project lifecycle, demonstrate a strong follow-up working style, and hold cross-functional roles accountable to accuracy and deadlines.
- Functional skills in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign are preferred.
- The incumbent should have high-level organizational and communication skills to interact with various types of individuals and functional areas within the division.
