Techman Sales Inc. is a global business development organization focused on providing engineered solutions in the following industries: Automotive, Major Appliance, Industrial and Heavy Truck Industries.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to act in the role of an Internal Salesperson with a strength in accounting proficiency to join our team in Ohio or Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with multiple manufacturing companies, for which Techman Sales acts as their sales organization, and assist in resolving outstanding payments.
The ideal candidate should understand general accounting principles and be open to learning basic manufacturing processes. This candidate must be self-motivated while working within a team of highly motivated individuals in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Inside Sales position is to proactively close outstanding payment obligations on behalf of multiple manufacturing companies for which Techman acts as an extension of their sales organization. There is an additional opportunity for growth in supporting the development and execution of a sales and business development plan across multiple manufacturing processes and specifically engineered products.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Communications, Accounting or equivalent
Previous experience in the Major Appliance, Automotive, Industrial, or Heavy Truck Industries would be a plus.
Candidate would need to have the ability to work and interact across multiple cultures.
Any familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment, gained through a co-op or internship situation would be a plus.
