Role: Chassis Mechanical Development & Validation Engineer
Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)
Top 3 Required Hard Skills & Experience:
- Automotive Industry Experience – Minimum 2 years working with chassis systems.
- Prototype Development – At least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Data Acquisition Tools – 2 years of experience with hardware and software for data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute validation efforts for chassis components from concept to production.
- Install, calibrate, and analyze data using acquisition tools.
- Design test fixtures and create test methods for unique validation requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with teams and suppliers to ensure efficient testing.
- Manage multiple projects while supporting HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) activities.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience with CATIA V5/V6 and 3D CAD modeling.
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, NVH principles, and CAE analysis.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
