We are looking for Director of Nursing Services (RN) – Perioperative Services
Location : Lancaster, CA
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic nursing leader to oversee Perioperative Services within our healthcare system. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in OR and ASC settings , looking to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care .
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage nursing services in perioperative care across multiple departments.
Oversee quality, safety, compliance, and regulatory standards .
Drive operational and financial performance , including budgeting and resource management.
Implement best practices to improve patient outcomes and enhance efficiency.
Foster a collaborative environment with physicians, staff, and hospital leadership.
Manage hiring, training, and performance of nursing staff.
Ensure adherence to state, federal, and accreditation requirements ( TJC, Nurse Practice Act, etc. ).
Required Qualifications :
- RN License (California) – Mandatory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Mandatory
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or Management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing – Required
- 8 years of acute healthcare nursing experience
- 4 years in progressive management / supervisory roles
- 3 years in an Operating Room (OR) setting
- 2-3 years of Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience
