Display Technical Specialist
Description
- Design and develop electrical and optical characteristics of displays.
- Integrate world-class display optics and electronics seamlessly with vehicles’ electrical architecture, UI / UX graphics, and Infotainment requirements.
- Be directly responsible for end-to-end success of the product’s optics and electronics from concept though production.
- Define product requirements and specifications and develop test plans, procedures, and criteria to ensure product robustness and quality.
- Design and manufacture prototypes and fixtures to perform measurements, experiments, and user studies for various types of displays.
- Release designs and requirements to suppliers and kick off tooling, checking fixtures, assembly fixtures, end of line testers to meet project milestones.
- Work with cross functional teams—design studio, UI / UX, quality, interiors, software—to ensure suppliers and internal teams meet the requirements of the product.
8 years of experience in design and development of electromechanical products with mechanical and electrical interfaces having high quality cosmetic requirements for a premium in-cabin user experience.
