Role: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist
Location: Plymouth, MN - 55442
Duration: 06 month contract
100% Onsite role
Looking for:
· An Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support site safety standards and assist in audit preparation.
· The role involves both on-floor assessments and office-based documentation, requiring an energetic candidate comfortable with physical tasks.
· Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite
· Basic auditing skills, including performing audits, program reviews, and maintaining equipment inventories
· Documentation and data entry skills, especially in SharePoint
· Experience in manufacturing operations preferred, though not strictly medical devices
· Strong communicator for clear correspondence via email, Teams, and phone
· Requires significant time on the floor conducting assessments, so the candidate should be energetic and comfortable with physical tasks like standing/walking for extended periods.
· Manufacturing or operational experience is desired; candidates from continuous improvement or quality backgrounds may also be considered if they have a strong auditing skillset
Education:
· College education preferred. A Bachelor's or Associate’s degree is acceptable, with the latter requiring a strong, relevant background.
Experience:
· 1-3 years in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or operations, ideally within manufacturing.
· Candidates from quality or continuous improvement backgrounds will also be considered if they possess strong auditing experience.
