Job description
The Quality Inspector is responsible for the auditing and testing of equipment being repaired at a bench level. This position ensures that repaired product passes inspection at the bench level. The Quality Inspector will interface with Line Management to alert them to any deficiencies and document accordingly.
- Reports to the QC Supervisor and QC Manager
Required Experience
- 2-5 years QC experience in warehouse
- Knowledge of basic quality standards / quality inspections / quality control in a relative environment
- o Previous Quality experience is a must (At least 1 year of current experience)o Inventory Control candidates can be considered.
- Experience in production processes in a warehouse environment:
o Receivingo Productiono Shippingo Etc.Required Skills
- Must have impeccable attendance.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in all areas / Must be flexible to learn all areas.
- Must adhere to ALL safety measures, procedures etc.
- Disruption in the workplace will not be tolerated.
- Attention to detail at a high level.
- Must have critical thinking skills and be a self-starter.
- Must be able to handle potential stressful situations and can problem solve.
- Able to work and continue to work without direct supervision.
- Time management / Multitasking
- Must be able to work alone in most cases while staying production and in constant communication with QC Supervisor / QC Manager
- Organizational and communication skills
Preferences
- Administrative / Clerical Skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle units weighing up to 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.00 - $16.75 per hour
