What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at TechMatrix Inc?
THE ROLE: In this role, the incumbent’s duties will also involve assembly, cleaning, sweeping, repairing or the assisting of others.
Position typically requires the use and operation of a variety of simple machines, tools, and parts; and the ability to exercise judgement and care to ensure quality of work.
Candidate needs to have forklift experience, and preference for other equipment such as a telehandler.
Position will be responsible for moving equipment around on the yard.
Candidate will assist with clean up and various projects around the facility.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Sweeping cleaning, lifting, moving, carrying; obtaining parts and/or assemblies or sub-assemblies, skids, containers, trays, etc.
Report unusual production or quality circumstances to supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic computer familiarity is preferred.
Paint prep skills preferred
1-3 years experience
