Role: Machine Operator II
Location: 920 E 19th Street, Columbus, NE, 68601
Schedule: 6 AM - 6 PM, Rotating Days (2-2-3)
Job Summary:
Seeking Machine Operators to join our team in Columbus, NE. In this role, you will operate and maintain SCF production equipment, ensuring product quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for equipment operation, product inspection, raw material movement, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor machines to maintain product quality and production levels
· Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues
· Conduct final inspections and process tests to ensure product integrity
· Visually inspect and package finished products
· Maintain accurate inspection records and respond to alarms as needed
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Work in a clean room environment and follow strict sanitation protocols
· Contribute to continuous process improvement and team collaboration
Qualifications:
· High school diploma/GED preferred (or 2 years of manufacturing experience)
· Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
· Familiarity with measurement devices and quality records preferred
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
