Title: Repair Technician (Tech B)
Location: Bessemer, AL
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: 12 months
Job Overview:
As a Repair Technician (Tech B), you will support the nation's largest wireless telecommunications and high-speed internet providers. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards to a component level, ensuring efficient and timely completion of repair orders. This role requires , electronic diagnostics, and test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards at a component level.
- Interpret electronic schematics and circuit layouts to identify issues.
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters.
- Perform surface mount and thru-hole soldering repairs.
- Follow ESD safety protocols and maintain quality standards.
- Keep workstation clean and organized.
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with circuit board troubleshooting and repair.
- .
- Proficiency in soldering various IC packages.
- Familiarity with voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
- Electronics degree, certification, or equivalent experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 & IPC-7711 standards.
- Experience in multi-layer board repair.
- Background in industrial electronics troubleshooting.
