A Manufacturing Engineer helps improve how products are made by using engineering knowledge to design better processes, layouts, and production methods. They focus on making manufacturing more efficient, cost-effective, and high quality.
What You’ll Do (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze time, motion, and workflow to improve speed and efficiency in production or maintenance processes.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and diagrams to help set quality and reliability standards.
- Review logs and documents to ensure everything meets quality assurance standards.
- Help plan tasks for workers based on their performance, machine capacity, and schedules.
- Create charts, floor plans, and workflow diagrams to explain how work and materials move through the production area.
Skills Needed:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work well with others and pay close attention to detail.
- Able to create and read engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience using tools like Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Education & Experience:
