Welding Inspector / Quality Inspector

Position: Quality Inspector/ Welding inspector

Location: Erie PA
Contract: 6-month contract (possible temp to hire after 6 months)

MUST be US Citizen or GC/ Needs to be our W2 Candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:

• Firm knowledge and understanding of ASME B 31.3
• Understanding welding symbols, tolerance, defects
• Interpreting radiographic film of weld joints/roots
• Experience with and ability to maintain ISO 9001 certified system (company rep)
• Ability to perform visual inspections and hydro
• Annual calibration log/record upkeeping
• Weekly meeting and review with our 3 rd Party A.I. (Authorized Inspector from HSB)
• Creating and tracking weld maps
• Understanding and firm knowledge of weld specs
• Annual review with HSB (Hartford Steam Boiler) to stay ASME certified

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Erie, PA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: On the road
