Job Title: Quality Control Inspector 1
Location: 106 Roche Drive, Durham, NC, 27703
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Onsite daily)
Duration: 9 months
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient and effective testing according to regulations and standards.
- Inspect and analyze results, determine final product disposition, and identify nonconforming conditions.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods.
- Ensure compliance with quality guidelines, regulations, and standards.
- Use calibrated equipment appropriately and follow maintenance/repair procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years in quality control or related roles.
- Ability to interpret drawings and geometric dimensions/tolerances.
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, RAM optics, micrometers, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.).
- Experience in continuous improvement activities.
- Understanding of calibrated equipment use and maintenance.
Job Types: Contract, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
