The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for driving revenue growth within TechMD’s existing customer base by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while focusing on revenue retention and expansion. Primary Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Opportunity Development
- Actively identify, pursue, and close opportunities to increase wallet share within assigned customer accounts
- Conduct client success check-ins with customers to understand their evolving needs and position TechMD’s services as solutions to those needs
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of TechMD’s product and service offerings to effectively promote and position additional value
- Proactively propose upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities to increase revenue from existing accounts
- Drive pipeline management for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely deal closures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining a focus on growth
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers
- Facilitate proactive communication with customers regarding new opportunities, service enhancements, and business updates
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for growth and service improvement
- Work closely with internal Service Delivery teams to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on customer trends, market demands, and potential growth opportunities
- Partner with the Outside Sales and Marketing teams to align messaging, offerings, and growth initiatives
- Track and report on account performance, including revenue growth, churn risk, customer satisfaction, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Utilize CWM and HubSpot (as appropriate) to maintain up-to-date customer data, activity logs, and deal progress
- Provide clear and consistent reporting to management on account growth status and projected revenue impact
- Proven track record in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles, with a focus on revenue growth
- Experience managing customer relationships and driving customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed growth targets and revenue goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to understand and effectively position complex service offerings to clients
- Experience using CRM software for opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- While technical expertise is not a requirement for the role, familiarity with technical concepts supports stronger customer relationships and helps uncover business growth opportunities
