As a Certified Scrum Master , you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the success of customer projects. You will assume overall responsibility for the seamless coordination and timely completion of technical projects to ensure project timeline and scope. Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with internal team members and customer stakeholders to establish deadlines, delegate duties, and diligently monitor project progress. You will also bring exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing and guiding teams through the Agile process. You will also be responsible for providing concise and informative reports to upper management, highlighting project status, potential issues, and associated risks. Leveraging your skills and experience, you will ensure efficient project execution and maintain the highest quality standards. This is an on-site position based in our Lafayette office. We value face-to-face collaboration, and your presence will be essential for team engagement and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess at least one current certification in the following : CSM - Certified Scrum Master or ACP - Agile Certified Practitioner.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum planning and daily Scrum meetings, ensuring active participation from all required team members.
  • Facilitate the entire Program Increment (PI) planning process, ensuring smooth collaboration, clear communication, and alignment between teams by managing timeboxes.
  • Identify dependencies, address ambiguities, and support the team in achieving committed Program Increment (PI) objectives.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure clarity and alignment of the product backlog and sprint goals. Assist Product Owner with defining Business Values and OKRs for each project.
  • Guide and coach the team in Agile practices, helping to maintain high performance and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Help create a comprehensive plan outlining the necessary infrastructure deliverables and schedules aligned with crucial project milestones across different environments.
  • Coordinate with cross-disciplinary team members and management to ensure alignment with project requirements, budgets, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the team to estimate their capacity and ensure realistic commitments.
  • Work closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to coordinate overall PI planning activities and ensure alignment across the Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Meet with project team members to proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Evaluate and prepare comprehensive dashboards in Azure DevOps by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information for effective project and team communication.
  • Establish robust project communication plans and oversee their execution to facilitate seamless stakeholder collaboration.
  • Facilitate change requests, keeping all parties well-informed about their impact on schedule and budget.
  • Obtain customer / stakeholder acceptance of project deliverables, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project transition period.
  • Manage customer satisfaction by actively addressing their needs and concerns during the project transition phase.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coaching the team in agile practices by prioritizing tasks and executing projects efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Techneaux leadership to advance project management activities and enhance services.
  • Requirements :

    What you will need to be successful in this role :

  • Five years of Project Management experience in a technology industry (SCADA or Oil & Gas industry experience highly desired).
  • Scrum Master Certification or equivalent, required.
  • Project Management Professional Certification, a plus.
  • Ability to proactively anticipate potential problems and initiate a corrective action plan to prevent disruptions to critical path objectives.
  • Exceptional skills in identifying and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation abilities in person, over the phone, and online across all individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Understand the big picture and connect it with the specific needs of a project.
  • Utilize coaching and educational techniques to enhance project team members' capabilities and skill sets.
  • Exhibit a flexible attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond the job description to ensure project success.
  • Advanced proficiency in various technological tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Teams, Office 365, CRMs, and other online resources for information.
  • Ability to develop an expert-level competency in Techneaux solutions.
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 25%.
  • Be located in the Lafayette area.
  • Pay Range = $85,000-$120,000
