What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Techneeds?
Our client, a local Upper Valley manufacturing facility is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team on 1st shift. You will inspect electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examines and tests assemblies in a darkroom for compliance to illumination regulations.
- Examines layout and installation of wiring, cables, subassemblies, hardware, and components to detect assembly errors.
- Compares assembly with parts list to detect missing hardware.
- Examines soldering, both in process and in final, to determine acceptability per specifications.
- Examines alignment of parts and measures parts for conformance to specified dimensions.
- Traces cables and harness assemblies, following cable-wiring diagram, to verify routing of wires to specified connections and conformance of cable lacing and insulation to manufacturing standards.
- Perform First Article Inspections and first piece inspections.
- Examines parts for surface defects such as chips, scratches, and pinholes.
- Records inspection data such as serial number, type and number of defects, and generates a non-conformance report for review by the MRB group.
- Precise completion of documentation.
- Calibration of measuring gauges and tools owned and used within the company.
