What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at TechNet Resources, Inc.?
One of our primary growth initiatives is our focus on Asset-Centric Project Management. This functionality is essential to our success and serves as a key differentiator in the marketplace. The Asset-Centric Product Manager collaborates closely with the Product Owner to understand processes and requirements, translating them into documentation for the development team to create and deliver effective solutions. The Product Manager should be a subject matter expert in Asset Management processes and how our platform addresses the challenges our customers face. This role offers high visibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile requirements into precise documentation needed by our development team
- Engage with the User Experience team to design functionality that is easier to use and thus more intuitive to end users
- Clarify requirements from the Product Owners and/or directly with Customers and Partners
- Identify edge cases
- Disclose potential error conditions
- Call out impact and dependencies to existing functionality
- Organize and write supporting documents for our Asset Centric offering and for technical documentation, primarily via Productboard and Azure DevOps
- Revise documentation as changes are made
- Document existing undocumented functionality
- Assist the QA team in understanding features and perform testing for artifact compliance
- Engage with the team on other non-Asset Centric projects
Experience & Education/Professional Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required
At least one of the following:
- 2 years working in a Product Manager or software documentation role
- Construction industry knowledge is preferred
