Job Description: Test Technician
Responsibilities:
Performs system and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) level testing processes on a variety of equipment.
Records and analyzes results from tests.
With minimal supervision, responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and reporting on system and board level components.
Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting using auxiliary test equipment, including oscilloscopes, volt meters, and spectrum and noise analyzers.
Must be able to distinguish between system, station, and software events/issues.
Leads root cause identification and correction.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Requirements:
Strong background in CCA troubleshooting, including CCA-level and isolating and resolving down to the component level for repair or replacement.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of electronic testing experience.
Associate’s Degree in Electronics preferred.
Military and/or manufacturing repair/systems test experience preferred.
Knowledge of guidance and navigation electronics desired.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
