This role is crucial in supporting the HSE Manager to administer the HSE management system effectively, particularly in an environment involving multiple contractors and simultaneous operations occurring in parallel. The Senior HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a culture of safety among contractors and field operators.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-Day HSE Inspections:

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Preferred university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management).
- Certifications:
- Safety certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of [4-6] years of relevant experience in HSE roles, with demonstrated experience in confined space entry, work-at-height operations, and life-critical activities.
- Experience in operational power plants or energy generation facilities is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in construction roles will also be considered.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
