Production/Inventory Control Specialist

TechniBlend is looking for someone who wants to contribute to the company’s success through managing the inventory of raw materials and finished goods on the production floor, ensuring accurate stock levels by tracking incoming deliveries, performing cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with production teams to maintain smooth production flow while minimizing unnecessary inventory. Essentially, overseeing the inventory aspect of the manufacturing process to optimize efficiency and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the release of materials to support an efficient flow through production.
• Maintain accurate physical inventory and perform cycle counts
• Interface with other departments regarding production order statuses
• Physically swap parts/prints on the floor to keep up with drawing revisions and BOM alterations
• Ensure components are picked & staged for production.
• Update pick schedules to match our build schedule so time wasted in Production is minimized
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies on pick sheets, POs, Production BOMs, etc.
• Respond to requests for inventory information in a timely manner and run reports
• Ensure accurate records are maintained in our ERP system
• Help track component shortages and implement cross-docking procedures to expedite materials to the floor
• Update current job order hour entry sheets for production
• Update job hours for shop and engineering to ensure correct time allocation
• Utilize MRP to create job orders for manufactured parts to complete jobs for customer orders
• Close and ship job orders upon completion or shipment of the job in ERP system
• Other operational functions as needed

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite & ERP Systems, (Syteline preferred)
• Detail orientated with great organizational skills
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees throughout organization
• Ability to participate as a member of a team to achieve department goals
• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or higher preferred)
