Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Material Coordinator on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX. These positions are full time but temporary with an anticipated period of performance of less than a year.
Position Responsibilities:
- Works exclusively in a vehicle maintenance facility processing repair parts and materials for military and civilian equipment using the Global Combat support System-Army (GCSS-A).
- Coordinates and expedites flow of material (repair parts, assemblies, petroleum and etc.) within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisor's
- Issue materials from shop stock or bench stock; maintain records of items issued.
- Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
- Pick up, turn in and process materials from the Installation Supply Support Activity and/or Tactical SSA's.
- Conduct walk-ups at various SSA in order to expedite equipment repairs.
- Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment as required.
- Maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting and supply reports to include shop stock, bench stock, demand analysis, ORILS, turn-in.
- Assists maintaining automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting.
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping
- Packs, crates, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies as required.
- Process turn-in documents through the applicable
- Assists with inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents.
- Performs inventories and location surveys IAW established procedures.
- Retrieves and analyzes historical and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
- Assists Supervisor and/or Lead reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews
- Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required. Performs other duties
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have hands-on experience with GCSS-Army; the ability to provide information, data, reports and requisition materials using GCSS-Army is required.
- Must have knowledge with documentations such as DA Forms 2404/5988E Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2407 Maintenance Request, DA Form 2407-1 Maintenance Request Continuation Sheet and other applicable DNDoD forms.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work in a team environment including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
- Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 restriction.
- Valid state issued driver license.
- Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 92A is preferred.
