Responsibilities :
Technica Corporation is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support customer events to include (but are not limited to) : tests and evaluations, experimentation, operational and technical assessments, engineering spirals, exercises and training, innovation activities, cyber events, and demonstrations. CAOC-X is an extremely versatile environment, successfully candidates need to be ready for a fast paced, ever changing, experimental environmental supporting the AOC Weapon System.
- The Senior System Administrator is a master at Windows Server Administration and / or Linux Server Administration. Successful candidates have several years of experience building, integrating, managing, and maintaining Windows Servers and / or Linux Servers in operational environments.
- Success candidates have experience with AWS, Microsoft System Center, SCCM, ACAS, HBSS, Cisco IOS, Data Encryption, and COMSEC
- CAOC-X is an extremely versatile environment successfully candidates need to be ready for a fast paced ever changing experimental environmental supporting COTS and GOTs systems and applications in support of the AOC Weapon System.
- Provide installation, loading, and configuration of systems, servers, networks and virtualized systems
- Provide system administration expertise to customer for events and other activities
- Responsible for administration of network, computers, communications systems, including LAN, WAN, and the Core Services [including administration of user accounts, passwords, permissions, access control lists, email, chat and other server or network services]
- Perform client systems administration
- Maintain virtual environment, servers and clients, creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures functionality of all external links
- Monitor networks, websites, and servers for acceptable performance and user accessibility
- Establish backups and monitors site security
- Responsible for configuration management documentation of system topologies
- Responsible for applying security lockdowns on all customer equipment in accordance with DISA, JTF-GNO, and SPO guidance
