Technical and Project Engineering LLC (TAPE) Senior Web Application Developer in Alexandria, Virginia Location : HybridJOB SUMMARYThe Senior Web Application Developer serves as a personnel member in the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS). This position is responsible for systems development, testing, and implementation within ATRRS, ensuring the creation of successful web-based solutions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSystems Development : Lead systems development efforts, ensuring the successful creation of web-based solutions.Testing and Implementation : Oversee the testing and implementation phases of projects, ensuring they align with project objectives and deadlines.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMA / MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10 years of experience.BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 12 years of experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems development, testing, and implementation in environments similar in size and complexity to ATRRS.Experience in Internet application development within a Microsoft web environment, including ASP with recent ASP.NET, SQL Server (including stored procedures), Visual Studio 2010, and IIS.Using DB2 Connect and integrating with mainframe applications.Active Secret Clearance required.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIESProficiency in systems development, testing, and implementation in complex environments, encompassing mainframe, host, cloud, web, and GUI components.Knowledge of DB2 Connect and integration with mainframe applications.Proficiency in the design, development, and consumption of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
