JOB SUMMARY

The Business / Reg Analyst will review project documentation and requirements, verifies system compliance with specifications, manages configuration control and documentation. Records performance and stress testing, useability testing metrics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supports independent validation and verification activities on large government agile software development program.
  • Reviews requirements, verifies system compliance with specifications, reviews configuration control and software documentation. Verifies performance, stress testing, and useability testing metrics.
  • Provides requirements and testing in agile system application development environment. Familiar with requirements and testing software used in SCRUM and SAFEe Agile Frameworks. Understand customers' needs and how to translate these into testable used stories.
  • Verifies stakeholder needs, are represented in user stories and are complete and accurate. Review the needs of the desired software or system enhancement and assures requirements cover exactly how the customer needs the software to function and what kind of tasks they must be able to perform.
  • Verify that requirements are complete and placed in the requirements management system. Ability to export data from the requirements management system to analyze and respond to customer AdHoc requests.
  • Review requirements to ensure testability.
  • Active participation in sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospective meetings, sprint demos, and backlog grooming.
  • May create a graphic model, mathematical equations, or a storyboard to record a system's requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related study
  • Secret Clearance
  • KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Ability to write manual test scripts to verify and validate sprint and program increment meet user needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be familiar with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

This position is performed in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The safe use of TAPE equipment, as well as safe practices while on TAPE property is essential.
