Job Responsibilities

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, Zoom, and / or on-line instruction.
  • Classroom management and administrative tasks that may include report, syllabus, and lesson plan development.
  • Assess the accomplishment of students on regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

Instructional Development

  • Assist in the development of computer technology curriculum as needed.
  • Recommend for approval instructional materials for a course.
  • Work with other areas of the college as needed such as tutoring, retention, etc, to help ensure student retention.
  • Professional Development

  • Attend relevant professional meetings.
  • Represent the Technical College of the Lowcountry positively in interactions with the community and with professional academic groups at local, state, and national levels.
  • Minimum and Additional Requirements

    A Bachelor's Degree with relevant work experience and industry certifications. Experience in curriculum development and teaching database, operating systems, and programming languages is preferred.
