About the role:
- Lead drainage and hydrology projects, overseeing feasibility studies, flood control designs, and related analyses.
- Manage and mentor the small team of EIT’s and designers.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians.
- Oversee all stages of project execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with local agencies and manage external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
What are they looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
- 5-10 years of experience in Drainage and Hydraulics & Hydrology (H&H) engineering.
- Proficiency in design and modeling software such as HECRAS, HECHMS, ARCGIS, and related tools.
