The Job
- Oversee transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet engineering standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, engineers, and government agencies.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage project administration, including reviewing RFIs, processing change orders, and verifying payments.
- Lead pre-construction meetings, track project milestones, and coordinate updates with stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and maintain detailed project records.
- Assist in project closeout, overseeing final inspections and documentation completion.
What They’re Looking For
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
- 5 years of experience managing transportation construction projects.
- Strong understanding of highway and bridge construction, including relevant TxDOT standards.
- Familiarity with construction management tools such as SiteManager, Primavera, or similar.
