Project Engineer

The Job

• Oversee transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet engineering standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, engineers, and government agencies.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage project administration, including reviewing RFIs, processing change orders, and verifying payments.
• Lead pre-construction meetings, track project milestones, and coordinate updates with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and maintain detailed project records.
• Assist in project closeout, overseeing final inspections and documentation completion.

What They’re Looking For

• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
• 5 years of experience managing transportation construction projects.
• Strong understanding of highway and bridge construction, including relevant TxDOT standards.
• Familiarity with construction management tools such as SiteManager, Primavera, or similar.
