We are seeking Database Architects at both Journeyman and Senior levels to join our team and design enterprise-level database strategies. These roles require professionals with expertise in database modeling, design, optimization, and integration to support critical programs. The position is contingent upon contract approval.
Database Architect - Journeyman
Responsibilities:
- Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks.
- Establish standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security.
- Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses.
- Create and optimize data models to support warehouse infrastructure and workflow.
- Integrate new systems into existing warehouse structures and refine system performance and functionality.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 10 years of experience in database architecture or related fields.
- Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or Master’s (MA/MS) degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven ability to perform all functional duties independently.
- Strong expertise in database modeling, optimization, and integration.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
Database Architect - Senior
Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks.
- Oversee and establish standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security.
- Lead the modeling, design, and construction of large relational databases or data warehouses.
- Optimize and maintain data models to support warehouse infrastructure and streamline workflows.
- Oversee the integration of new systems into existing warehouse structures and ensure optimal system performance and functionality.
- Provide leadership and oversight of less senior staff and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in database architecture or related fields.
- Master’s (MA/MS) degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven ability to work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a program and oversee staff efforts.
- Expertise in database strategy, design, and large-scale system integration.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $168,085.00 - $176,260.00 per year
