Your focus will ensure the team’s solutions align with the existing environment while anticipating future functionality and enhancements. On-site in Reston, VA.
Required:
- 5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in back-end development
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
- Expertise with Node.js and the Express framework
- Strong knowledge of SQL syntax and query development
- Experience in API development, including RESTful architectures
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Preferred:
- 3 years of experience in back-end application or service development
- 2 years of experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with React or Next.js
- Proficiency in testing frameworks and code quality tools like Jest and SonarQube
- Experience with user authentication workflows, such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools, like Sequelize
- Knowledge of JIRA, Git, and GitLab
- Strong ability to interpret user requirements and investigate root causes to provide solutions
- Security certifications such as DoD 8570 Compliant Security or CISSP
Clearance:
Candidates must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Pay: $107,889.55 - $129,931.50 per year
