Position Overview:
Do you excel in detail-oriented work and have a passion for precision? Join TMI as an Electrical Calibration Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of cutting-edge measurement instruments. In this role, you’ll work on equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and torque devices, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration on electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, torque devices, and other related equipment).
- Calibrate primary, secondary, and working standards to ensure top-tier accuracy.
- Create detailed calibration reports and certificates in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain calibration equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine calibration procedures and implement improvements.
- Support audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
All calibration work is NIST-traceable and A2LA-accredited to ISO/IEC 17025.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience in electrical calibration AC/DC, temperature, pressure, torque, etc.
- Preferred: Background in DOD, PMEL, or military calibration.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to error-free work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication for team collaboration and client interaction.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
