Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician specializing in Electronic/ Physical Dimensional calibration. The role requires knowledge of AC/DC, Temperature, Pressure, Torque, and Mechanical calibration of measurement equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational and communication skills. This position will be in our client’s location full time as an Onsite Technical Service (OTS).
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate equipment including micrometers, oscilloscopes, calipers, dial indicators, mechanical gauges, temperature, pressure, torque devices, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
- Calibrate primary, secondary, and working standards.
- Generate calibration reports and certificates, ensuring compliance.
- Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on calibration procedures and improvements.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist with audits by providing technical guidance and expertise
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience in electrical, temperature, torque, and physical dimensional calibration.
- DOD, PMEL, or Military calibration background preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
