What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press Operator - 1st Shift position at Technical Metal Specialties Inc?
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up punches, dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper radius and angle.
- Determine sequence of multiple pass operations to make required bends on complicated sections.
- Use set up pieces for forming special shapes having single or compound radii and angle requirements.
- Work from drawings, patterns, templates and specifications.
- Use scale, protractor, radii gauges, etc.
- Identify parts with correct shop and part number.
- Work is subject to first piece and process checks and final inspection.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED)
